Piano Publisher collects only the minimum data necessary to operate the TikTok integration. Specifically, the application stores OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens obtained through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. These tokens are used exclusively to authenticate API requests on behalf of the authorized account.

Through the user.info.basic scope, the application reads the authorized account's open_id and display name solely to verify account identity. This information is not stored beyond the session.

3. How Data Is Used

The access and refresh tokens stored by Piano Publisher are used solely to publish original piano video content to the authorized TikTok account via the Content Posting API. Tokens are automatically refreshed before expiry to maintain uninterrupted service. No data collected through this application is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than API authentication.

4. Data Storage and Security

OAuth tokens are stored in a secured configuration file on a private server located in Germany (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg). Access to this server is restricted to the application operator. No tokens or personal data are transmitted to third parties. The server is protected by firewall rules and access controls.

5. Data Sharing

Piano Publisher does not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. Data is never used for marketing purposes and is never disclosed to advertisers or analytics providers.

6. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained for as long as the TikTok integration is active. If you revoke access to the application via your TikTok account settings, the stored tokens will no longer be valid and will be removed from the server upon the next scheduled maintenance cycle.

7. Your Rights

You may revoke this application's access to your TikTok account at any time via your TikTok account settings under "Manage app permissions." To request deletion of any stored data, contact us at the address below.
