1. Acceptance of Terms

By authorizing Piano Publisher via TikTok's OAuth 2.0 flow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not authorize the application.

2. Description of Service

Piano Publisher is a tool that enables the authorized user to publish original piano video content directly to their TikTok account using TikTok's official Content Posting API. The application is operated by Fabian Günther, a musician and music producer based in Leipzig, Germany.

3. Authorization and Account Access

Piano Publisher only accesses TikTok accounts that have explicitly granted authorization through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 flow. The application requests the following scopes: user.info.basic (to verify account identity), video.upload (to upload video files as drafts), and video.publish (to publish videos directly to the authorized profile).

No unauthorized accounts are ever accessed or managed by this application.

4. Content

All videos published through Piano Publisher are original piano performances created and owned by Fabian Günther. The application does not upload third-party content, copyrighted material belonging to others, or any content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.

5. Data Usage

Access tokens obtained through OAuth authorization are stored securely on the server and are used solely to perform authorized API calls on behalf of the authorized account. Tokens are automatically refreshed before expiry and are never shared with third parties. No personal data beyond what is necessary for API authentication is collected or retained.

6. Compliance with TikTok Policies

Piano Publisher operates in full compliance with TikTok's API Terms of Service, Developer Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines. The application respects rate limits, implements duplicate detection, and applies cooldown periods to ensure responsible API usage.

7. Limitation of Liability

Piano Publisher is provided as-is. Fabian Günther assumes no liability for service interruptions caused by TikTok API changes, platform downtime, or token expiry. The operator reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date of the most recent update is indicated at the top of this page.
